Peter Lillich of Mr Pisgah witnessed his dog go mad and hang himself in the woods. He cut the dog down and bashed the head with an axe before dinner. The next day the dog returned, the rope trailing and the eye exposed, prompting a roomful of screams. He again used the axe, severing the head, leaving the dog dead.
