Court Denies Injunction In Historical Society Battle
The Clermont County Common Pleas Court denied a temporary injunction to restrain John H. Armleder from operating a booth in the name of the Clermont County Historical Society. Judge Harold D. Nichols cited an ongoing case over who should lead the society, with a hearing set for July 14 and trial on Sept. 11. No proof of Armleder’s contract with the fair board was shown, and the court avoided preventing the Amelia Batavia livestock club from supporting its readers pending further rulings.
