Mrs. Lyd Moore Dies After Illness in 1911
Mrs. Lyd Moore, wife of H A Moore, died at her Spring street home Monday morning August 7 1911 at 6 30 after weeks of Brights disease aged 62. She leaves a husband and three grown children. Funeral services from the home at 2 o clock conducted by Rev Lavendar with Rev Burdsall assisting. This is the Moore family’s first death. Obituary next week.

Matilda Dumford born October 1831 in Tippecanoe Goshen Ohio died July 29 1911 aged about 80. Parents Aaron and Cynthia moved to Meeks farm in the township as children. She married Jacob Dumford and had two children. After losses she lived with family on land she helped develop. She endured hard early years working fields weaving and sewing. Devoted to family she remained in the home and cherished memories of her long life and descendants.

Death of Thomas Cox at Mt. Pisgah
