Stover notes control by formaldehyde seed treatment for wheat and cautions against treating fields with infested corn stalks. Obituary of Hulda Harris Born 1845 Died 1919
Hulda Harris longtime Winters resident born April 7 1845 died July 16 1919 at age 74 years with 12 days. She married Samuel C Harris on Sept 2 1866 and had six children Sarah Smith Clara Jacobs Addie Frazer Fannie Zimmerman Onie Peterson and Lizzie Curtis. The family spent 1906–after the San Francisco earthquake in California before returning to Ohio. Surviving sisters are Sarah Thompson Emma Hulse and Anna Settles. Fourteen grandchildren are noted and mourners speak of her kindness and devotion to family wha combined into a peaceful farewell.
