Clermont veterans encampment draws 1000 plus to Boston Fair Grounds
More than a thousand Clermont county veterans and about as many supporters gathered at the Boston Fair Grounds over two days. The program featured addresses by John L. Marsh Hon E B Holmer Charles Brannock and Colonel Blodgett with recitations by the Aley sisters and numerous solo performances. Camp fire chats an army dinner and prayer services complemented the event as officers for next year were announced led by Walter Eppert as commander.
