The Batavia Fellowship of Churches plans a fair booth August 14 18 as part of the Key 73 evangelism program with over a hundred denominations targeting North America. Each day features a designated church and volunteer workers with need for emergency help and a secretary contact.
In Clermont County 653 of 680 farms in the Feed Grain Wheat Program have received payments amid adverse weather. About $228,000 injected locally with rest due in coming weeks. Non participants were asked to report planted acreages on June 15. Secretary Butz announced July 19 no set aside of land for feed grains or wheat and no conservation lease requirement for eligibility.
