Clermont planning panel approves 15 housing projects

Clermont County Planning Commission and its Zoning and Land Development Committee approved final and preliminary plans for 15 housing projects across multiple townships. Windsor Park in Williamsburg Township received 19 lots with drainage provisions. Meadows and Indian Meadows in Pierce and Miami Townships gained final approvals for numerous lots, with conditions on water and sewer plans. Assets include CIP Corp projects at Clermont Air Park and Bridlewood in Union Township, plus Shenandoah Trace in Williamsburg and Amelia Park in Batavia.

Employment Services Relocating to New Ohio HQ

Construction of the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services headquarters is to finish by fall. The site near the Clermont County Hospital and State Highway Patrol post along the Appalachian Highway will offer parking for 75 cars and may add one or two employees.

Clermont County plans a long awaited master plan with studies of population housing and economic conditions. Harry B Reed Jr executive director outlined land use development analysis and transportation needs including mass transit and updated county highway plans.
