Coroner Gruber's Home Burglary Reported in Bethel
The home of Dr. A A Gruber and his wife on Pethel Concord Road Bethel was burglarized Saturday night between 7 30 and 9 30 pm. A mink stole fur hat four watches cuff links and other jewelry and about 1600 in cash were taken. Entry was through the garage and loot carried away in a pillowcase. Dr Gruber is Clermont County coroner.

Miami man killed in Rt 52 crash near Hamilton line
James Brookover, 29, of Miami Florida, died early Monday when his car struck a guard rail and bridge abutment on Route 52 west of New Richmond near the county line. He had been warned by a Ripley patrolman about a defective muffler and was later charged with reckless driving in Manchester where his brother resides.
