Two Burglary Suspects Arrested In New Richmond
New Richmond police arrested Howard Bowling 19 and William Workman 23 on Thursday for separate burglaries. Bowling was captured in the A and P Supermarket after a chase triggered by a store safety incident. Workman fled in a stolen vehicle from Hendersons Body Shop, ditched the car after a high speed maneuver. Officers Chief Jack Hines and Patrolmen Riley Haley and others responded to calls and detained Bowling under a counter after he attempted to flee.

JFK Hears Plea On Circle Freeway
Governors of Ohio Indiana and Kentucky and President Kennedy urged the White House to study adding 24.2 miles to the Circle Freeway plan. Little Miami Dam Aims to Ease City Water Shortage
Loveland city officials plan to dam the Little Miami River to raise aquifer levels and relieve a recurring water shortage. City Manager William Shawhan said a test well shows abundant supply and a 24 hour test is planned. Drillers found water at 19 feet and 53 feet of water-bearing gravel before passing five feet of soapstone.

Vaccine Demand Surges In Clermont County Immunization
Nearly 26,500 Clermont Countians visited five immunization centers Sunday raising the City area total to 600,000 doses. In June the five-county region delivered 552,435 doses with Clermont County recording 19,500. Centers in Batavia Bethel Mt. Carmel and New Richmond were staffed by volunteers under county medical society and health department sponsorship. The final dose is scheduled for September 16.
