Four Attend Farm Bureau Training Class at Wittenberg

Clermont County Fair opens Tuesday August 14 from 2 to 4 pm with remarks by County Commissioner Charles Hook and a full program. Russell Thirey will MC, a flag raising ceremony features an eight man honor guard from Felicity and Wilmington missile bases, and a new flag pole is dedicated. Bands from Clermont Northeast Amelia and Williamsburg perform. Admission to grounds is free until 5 pm. A Nike Hercules missile exhibit 43 feet long will run for the fair, provided by Lt Mullins and Lt Johns of local military bases.

Joint Rites Held For 2 Victims in Ohio Pike Crash
Funeral services were set for Robert Amburgey 72 and his grandson Daniel 13 with interment at Green Mound Cemetery New Richmond. Amburgey died at the scene and Daniel died two hours later. Daniel was survived by his parents Glenn and Florence and six siblings. Ronnie G Halcomb 18, who died Monday from crash injuries, will be buried at Bantam Christian Church with interment at Mt Moriah Cemetery. visitation was Wednesday evening.
