Census Opens in Bethel School District for Village Status
A federal census in Bethel, Ohio, is under way to determine if the district qualifies for exempted village status. Three More Lootings Reported in County Area
Charles Stevens of Felicity grocer reported three recent thefts in the county. Items stolen include 200 pounds of coffee 300 dollars worth of cigarettes hams bacon and 40 dollars cash from Brooks food market on Mt. Carmel Tabasco Road Sunday. A prior Saturday cash register loss totaled 130 dollars. Also reported was a break in at Glen Este Race Bowl concession stand with small amounts missing along with coin machines looted. Sheriff Clyde B. Dericks indicated the incidents.

Water taps expand as new wells serve extra roads

Two Arrested for Gasoline Thefts in Batavia
Friday arrests of Allen N. Faulkher, 24, of Chapel Road, Amelia, and a 16 year old boy by Chief Bq Colonel cleared up gasoline thefts from parked cars in Batavia. They admitted stealing gas from Harold Gallagher's Main Delicatessen and National Guard trucks. Faulkner is in county jail on petit larceny. the juvenile will appear before Judge Orville Halbisch in juvenile court.

Robbery Suspects Bound Over to Jury
