The Mt Carmel Glen Este Boosters Club hosts an all star game at Summerside school baseball diamond on Sunday August 6 starting 12 30 pm. Four classes of baseball pace the afternoon with teams from Q and C Knothole D and C and A Knothole. Proceeds aid Mt Carmel Glen Este area programs. Countians Named To Key UA Posts
Twenty two Clermont residents from communities throughout the county have been appointed to key posts in the 1961 62 United Appeal announced by George H Day of 727 Vera Cruz Pike Milford chairman of the Clermont County division. Day said county civic leaders rally to aid health welfare and character building organizations supported by United Appeal. The campaign begins Sept 5 and aims to raise 6 665 600 for 125 Community Chest agencies and 16 Red Cross services. Milford Michael Cole McClary son of Mr and Mrs Carl McClary has enlisted in the Navy and will be stationed in San Diego California.

County Health Board Seeks State Aid For Commissioner
Clermont County Board of Health appealed to the State Department of Health for help in obtaining a health commissioner. They plan to hire a part time commissioner from a neighboring county until a permanent officer is found.
