Milford druggist Leo Feinstein dies after illness
Leo Feinstein a Milford druggist died last Thursday at the home of Frances J Utz in Okley after three weeks of treatment. Services were held Monday at a Madison Road funeral home and St Cecilia Church Cincinnati. He moved from Cincinnati over 15 years ago and started Leo's Pharmacy. He was Milford's first State Liquor Agent after repeal. He lived alone above his store and owned a farm near Fayetteville. Surviving are two sisters Mrs Rose Gusman and Mrs Mamie Englander and a brother Harry.

Milford Boy Suffered Serious Burns From Gunpowder Flash
Paul Hornsby nine year old son of Mr and Mrs John Hornsby of Mt. Zion Road near Milford received severe facial and body burns last Thursday when gunpowder ignited by matches caused a flash explosion in a shed near his home. Neighbors found his clothing burned and he was taken to Dr J C Spencer Milford and then to Children's Hospital by Craver Ambulance Service. He is expected to recover though his burns are serious.
