Crash Victim’s Services Held for Amelia Man
Services were held for Marvin E. Hutton 49 of 1751 E Ohio Pike at Amelia Methodist Church. Hutton died 3 15 a m Saturday from injuries after his car overturned on Ten Mile Rd 1 2 mile west of Lindale and landed on its wheels. He worked at CG E Beckford plant and was taken to Our Lady of Mercy Hospital. Survived by wife Nettie two daughters Myrtle Handorf Covington Ky coma Wash and five grandchildren.

CAC Pays Tribute To Dr Philips Greene
The Clermont CAC cancels its April 27 monthly board meeting at Cincinnati Gas & Electric Batavia after the death of Dr Philips Greene. He led health initiatives, served on trustees and committees, and inspired efforts to improve childhood health and dental clinics in Clermont County. David O Kibler, longtime Mt Utah resident and former president and major shareholder of the Citizens Bank of Leesburg, died of a heart attack after years of heart disease. Born Oct 29 1896, he directed the Tennessee Walking Horse enterprise and held various lodge and club memberships. Funeral services were set for today with burial at Mt Crab Cemetery.

County Hospital Discussion Sets Public Meeting in Clermont County
A public meeting at 8 p.m. May 2 in the CG&E Auditorium Batavia will feature a panel including the Clermont County Hospital Citizens, the County Medical Society, William Wolfe of the Ohio Division of Health and Medical Facilities and Donald Buckley of the Clermont County Planning Commission. Topics cover hospital need methods to achieve one, and Federal aid. They will analyze citizen attitudes toward a hospital bond issue and operating levy rejected in the past. Discussion includes options: a County General Hospital funded by public money, a for profit or non profit hospital funded by private or public funds, and Federal Hill-Burton and Appalachian funds, plus State Bond support. GLEN ESTE The Glen Este PTA meets April 27 at 8 p.m. in the cafetorium to discuss student health and nation state issues with panelists including Mike Randol, Penny Purcell, Darlene Inabnitt, Dennis Bacon, John Randol and Tim McKeirnam. Mary Ruth Stevens moderates. Questions include the effect of national conditions on students, whether sex is a problem, dress freedoms, and smoking lounges at school.
