B N West director of the Delinquent Tax Commission announced that 46144 in cash payments on real estate delinquencies were received as the period ended March 31. The commission has 160 undertakings and 92 partial plans, lifting accounted delinquencies to 78063. About 94000 remains unaccounted for.
A Silver Tea will be held in the Bethel Community Building on Saturday April 30 at 2 30 by the Bethel rake Club library Committee. The tea is open to the public and proceeds fund library books with a Cincinnati Library speaker on the program. The event aims to expand public use of library facilities.

Mrs. Donovan wife of George Donovan of New Richmond died Monday evening. Funeral will be at Franklin Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial is at Hamilton. She leaves a son, a daughter and a grandson.
The Amelia High School senior class will present a three act farce titled Fixin Aunt Fanny at the school auditorium on Friday May 6 at 8 o clock. Reserved seats cost 25 cents for adults and 15 cents for children.
Harold Idlett was appointed by Mayor Clarence Kennedy to replace Clyde Hesler as Bethel Village Clerk. Hesler resigned to take a full time position with Western & Southern Life Insurance Co. Idlett, known for managing the Bethel A. P. Store and later a bookkeeper for the Bethel Service Center, was sworn in Saturday at 5 PM.
Marguerite Bruin and Chester Balzhiser joined in marriage at the Summerside parsonage with Rev. C Moore presiding on Saturday April 16 at two o clock.

Thomas B. Mathews of Newtown served as guest of honor at the 119th anniversary celebration of American Odd Fellowship in Cincinnati. At 88 he is the order’s oldest member, with 66 years of continuous membership. He belongs to Flag Springs lodge No. 152, Newtown, affiliate of the Greater Cincinnati Odd Fellows Association. Dr George C Kolb and Mrs Anna V Camnitz led the reception committee.

Miss Sadie Wilson 60 of Wiggonsville dies suddenly of heart failure. Funeral at Lakin Chapel Friday at 2 PM conducted by Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Wall of Felicity. She taught at Pt Isabel and Canter's Schoolhouse, later ran Corbin Dry Goods and Grocery with her brother William. She leaves three sisters Eva Huff Bessie Canter Elsie Canter and one brother William.

About 150 Eagles from District No. 21 Blanchester Batavia Georgetown Ripley Hillsboro and Manchester attended the first regular meeting at the Clermont Aerie new home. State Secretary M L Brown of the F O E delivered the principal address.
Clyde Poe, 41, of near Backrun road, struck by R L Duckle of Cincinnati near Hamlet last Tuesday, suffered a broken leg. Deputy Ab bott sent him to St Marys hospital after Dr S W Scarce treated him. Clyde Sharp, brick layer of Locust Corner, found Thursday with a broken jaw and skull fracture. Dr Mead treated him at New Richmond and he was sent to Good Samaritan Hospital. he is married with two children.
Dr. W. C. Griffith purchased his old family home at the corner of Main and 4th street Bata via in a partition sale for 3300 dollars. The house once belonged to his father Simpson Griffith and has remained in the family for years, noted as one of the choice Main street locations.
