Five Clermont seniors top state Senior Scholarship test
Five Clermont county high school seniors achieved the highest scores on the Senior Scholarship Test held April 2 in Batavia. The top scorer was Harry Walter Lampe of Owensville with 301 points, followed by Warren Albert Rocquet of Owensville and Robert Allen Gibson of Amelia tied at 260, Lucille Meranda of Moscow with 232, and Paul William Munford of Milford tied at 232. The high scorers will receive college scholarships some covering up to four years. Sixteen county seniors took the test.

Felicity Youth Suffers Injury in Pitchfork Accident
Edwin Lanham age 14 of Felicity was injured when George Longworth 19 accidentally drove a tine of a pitchfork into his right hand late Saturday night. A physician treated the wound with tetanus serum.
