Asphalt Plant Proposed in Pierce Township Faces Zoning Rebuff
LOCUST CORNER A proposed 500000 asphalt plant in Pierce township appears doomed after the Clermont County zoning commission denied a change from recreation to industrial use for an 18 acre tract along the Clermont Hamilton line near U S 52 and the Ohio River. The matter may go to the trustees, who would need unanimous approval, and one trustee has shown opposition. The Hamilton County Rural Zoning Commission is set to rule on the county portion amid prior resistance from Hamilton County.
