The Barnstormin Barnhills Roaring 2s Flying Circus, sponsored by the Amelia Wo men's Civic Club, comes to Sky Hill on Saturday and Sunday May 2 and 3. Feature act Dr. Lawrence Jung Larry Tetzlaff, billed as the world's greatest living adventurer, performs in a cage with tigers lions and African devil dogs.

Amelia High School Band to Perform Spring Concert Friday
Amelia The Amelia High School Band will present its annual spring concert Friday April 17 at 8 p.m. in the high school cafetorium. Soloists include Carolyn Fubanks on clarinet Robert Bradley on tympany Barbara Nies on piano and Douglas Brooks. Junior High Band also participates with an announcement on senior band eligibility. Tickets are 1 for adults 50 cents for students preschoolers admitted free. Dugan announced Sunday concerts by the combined West Clermont Bands in May in Amelia and Mt Carmel.

Patrolman Dolder Wins 1963 Merrell Award for Courage
State Highway Patrolman Robert W. Dolder receives the 1963 C. W. Merrell Award at General Headquarters in Columbus for risking personal injury to restrain a mentally disturbed woman who fatally shot her husband in Clermont County. Dolder lunged 15 feet, was shot in the thigh, and helped prevent further harm. He joined the Patrol in 1961, now serves Cincinnati, and is married with one son.
