Death of Gordon Lane in Hamilton After Pneumonia
Gordon Lane a former Batavian died at his Hamilton home last Wednesday from double pneumonia after two years of declining health. He was an electrician by trade and oldest son of Mrs. Ella Lane. Survived by three daughters and a widow burial set for Monday in Hamilton. Lane was remembered by Batavians from boyhood. In spring 1926 Delmer P. Hill married Grace L. Do Bell of Oozaddale at the Presbyterian Range with Irene Daley Virgil Parker and Edith Parker as attendants.

Death of Milford man in Camp Dennison road crash
William McCammon, 33, of Milford, a member of a prominent family, died when his automobile left Camp Dennison road, ran over a twenty foot embankment, struck a tree near Milford early Tuesday morning April 16. The body was found at 5:30 a.m. by a telegraph operator at the scene. Authorities were notified and recovered the body after the accident occurred following a late night visit to friends.

Will Kain Burned to Death in Cincinnati Garage
Will Kain a former Batavian and longtime omnibus driver died after being fatally burned while starting a boiler fire at Alms and Doepke Co Garage in Cincinnati where he worked as night watchman. A fellow guard found him in the burning clothes and he died at 2 p.m. at the hospital. He was 78 and survived by a daughter and brother Frank of Batavia. Mrs Bila Lane was dangerously sick and missed her son Gordon's funeral in Hamilton on Monday.
