Family Of Year Seghers Honored At Xavier University
The Edward Seghers family of Nine Mile Road Tabasco was named Family Of The Year in the Greater Cincinnati area at the annual Family Life Conference held last Friday at Xavier University. Rev. Paul L. O'Connor presented a silver tray to Mr. and Mrs. Seghers. Seghers works for the Internal Revenue Service and serves in local civic groups and libraries. the family supports the Williamsville-Tobasco Credit Union and includes six children, two of whom are teaching sisters.

Radel Dump Case May Be Appealed
REMINGTON The Radel Co operators of the dump on Rt 126 near hear is expected to appeal its case to the Court of Appeals. The dump was ordered closed by the Clermont County Board of Health last fall. The company obtained a temporary injunction against the closing order which was set aside by Judge John Houston of Georgetown sitting by assignment. A motion for a new trial was overruled by Judge Houston last week.

No Tip-Off In Raid Sheriff Says And Kiwanis Commend

State Highway Department opened bids for three projects in Clermont County. The William Ringwald Co. bid 44 130 dollars for State Route 48 improvements in Clermont and Warren counties with work including grading draining and paving for 0 165 mile in Miami and Hamilton townships. Walter L. Follmer bid 83 303 dollars for State Route 22 work in Clermont Hamilton Clinton and Warren counties including resurfacing 2 71 miles on Route 133 in Wayne township. Teen Time First To Use Courier Room At Amelia
The 20 member Teen Time club became the first to use The Courier public meeting room in Clermont County on Saturday March 30. The group will meet every other Saturday night and has rules including no drinking or smoking and 20 cent dues. President Tom Ellis and secretary Mary Ann Fogle oversee leadership and eligibility. three more boys and two girls were voted in.
