Former Batavian William Brothers Sr. dies at 64 in Cincinnati
William Brothers Sr. aged 64 and formerly of Batavia, died suddenly at his Cincinnati home on Monday morning after a period of ill health. He leaves eight children. his wife passed away several months ago. Funeral services will be held from the Batavia M. E. church on Wednesday at 2 30 PM. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.

Fatal auto crash claims Wilhiamsville man
Richard Pemberton aged 22 of Wilhiamsville died after his Studebaker overturned while resisting an alley backing vehicle on Grant Highway. He died at Bethesda Hospital Cincinnati at 11 45 p m. He worked as a mechanic for Bennett Auto Sales Co Cherry Grove. His mother Augusta Pemberton accompanied him to the city and was injured when another car backed into their vehicle at Mt Washington but continued on after the collision.

James Holden son of Dr. Harry Holden, 21, of Williamsburg, died Friday afternoon from cyanide consumed with coca cola. An invalid from birth, he showed remarkable intellect and had designed radios and patents with his father. Death was instantaneous. funeral is private Sunday at 4 o clock from the residence.
