John Gaskins 15 suffered severe head injuries as a car driven by Norman Gaskins 48 being northbound on Mt Carmel Tabasco Rd veered left of center and struck their vehicle head on. Norman Gaskins sustained a broken kneecap and several broken ribs. Michael Harvey 19 was cited for excessive speed for road conditions.

Student Struck On School Crosswalk In Amelia
Amelia 11 year old Reba Stratton was struck by a car on a crosswalk at Amelia Elementary School. She received abrasions and was kept for observation at Brown County Hospital after initial treatment by Dr. Pfalzgraf. The accident involved Mr. and Mrs. John Gullet who reside at 1346 Locust Lake Rd. and teach at New Richmond High School. The patrolman noted the street was wet and no citation was issued.
