Dayton city commission votes 3 to 2 to accept a 4% compromise gas rate from Dayton Power & Light, repealing a prior ordinance. The new rate effective October 20 and through December 31, 1834 sets 66 1 2 cents per 1000 cubic feet for the first 15,000 feet, 0 cents for 5,990 feet, 55 cents for 5,000 feet, and 50 cents per thousand feet thereafter. The current rate is 74 cents per thousand for the first 19,000 feet and 55 cents for consumption over 20,000 feet.

Indictments Refused in Oberlin Grand Jury Session
