Jacksons Mich Sept 19 Hal Nett sixty six year old pilot was found alive after two days beside his wrecked mail plane en route from Chicago to Cleveland. A score of rescue planes searched the route. a boy in Leoni Mich found him with a fractured left leg right arm and severe cuts. He said he lost his sense of direction amid heavy fog and a coming storm. He crawled from the wreckage and lay by the plane until found.

Three Injured in Crash on West Ane
Three persons were hurt in an automobile collision at West avenue and Sixth street about 7:45 last night. Driver David S. Tate of 141 Courtland street was hospitalized at Elyria Clinic with severe lacerations and possible fractures. Mrs. Perry Koplin of 25 West avenue and her son Bud suffered cuts and bruises and were released to go home. Tate’s car struck the Koplin vehicle as he attempted a turn. Lifeless Boy Found In Tank Car In Tennessee
Clarence Lawson a 14 year old Elyria High freshman died after gasoline fumes from an empty railroad tank car likely suffocated him at a station on Oberlin road. He was exploring inside the tank to recover a gasket and fell beneath the top opening. His uncles Walter and Corridon Welburn removed him with help from city firemen and he died at Memorial hospital. Burial set for Thursday at Belden cemetery with services at Nichols Funeral Home. He resided with his grandparents Jed and Mrs Welburn and is survived by his mother and stepfather Harold and Mrs Brown.
