The State Highway Department will pave Middle Avenue from curb to curb with brick at an estimated 160000 dollars. Mayor W H Van Aster said the decision was confirmed by E R Ault, Ashland highway engineer. State and federal funds would cover 75 percent, with county and city paying 25 percent. The mayor will seek council approval and coordinate with county commissioners to finance and start work soon.

School Bus Struck by Auto Near Cleveland Road

Two Killed In Bucyrus Crash
Two men died when a car was struck by a Pennsylvania passenger train at the Lincoln Highway intersection in Bucyrus. Victims were Jacob Bohning, 60, just arrived from Germany, and Paul Hoffman, 60, of Fairbury. Hoffman had been with Peter Schaeffer, Karl Baer and Martin Steldinger in another car.
