Three men stabbed while rescuing woman in Lorain
In Lorain Ohio on September 18, a former Lorain High football player Vincent Pincura 22 boxer Albert Butch Binder 19 and amateur footballer Joseph Dilocs were stabbed while rescuing Mrs Anna Burich from two would be intruders. Auto Car Collision Kills Three In Oberlin Area
Three residents of Oberlin and Elyria were killed and a fourth critically injured when a car collided with a heavy truck on Route 20 east of Elyria shortly before 1 a.m. The dead are Frank Stewart 27 of Elyria Hurley Buck Nance 30 of Oberlin and Mrs. Naster White 35 of Oberlin. The injured man is Lester Northcutt 39 of Elyria rushed to Memorial hospital with a fractured skull and other injuries. The truck driver William A Peters and assistant L C Rathbun said they saw a car weaving toward them on the hill faced with a diagonal cross. The car reportedly went off the road and was struck. Both truck men said they were traveling about 15 mph while the auto was about 35 mph. Steward died on arrival. Mrs White died a few minutes later.
