U S Representative Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio the first Latino to represent the 16th District announced he will not run again citing family and the toxic political climate He voted to impeach Trump over the Jan 6 insurrection and said he plans to work to prevent Trump’s return to the White House Trump had endorsed his rival Max Miller in the 2022 primary Gonzalez was censured by the Ohio Republican Party in May for his impeachment vote.
