Last hurrah hotel deal moved toward city approval
A so called final lakefront hotel proposal was hammered out Tuesday between Lorain city officials and Landmark Hotel Corp developers. The plan asks the city to provide the bulk of the 1 million needed to acquire the site with developers later buying back land over time. A council meeting and possible special session were planned for Friday or Wednesday to discuss and vote on the proposal.
