Mother Fights For Daughter In Oberlin Child Case
A 44 year old mother became hysterical as authorities removed her 14 year old daughter to the Children's Home at Oberlin. The mother was confined in the county jail after the confrontation at the courthouse when she resisted the removal. Police referred the matter to county officials who noted the daughter had been committed to the Home a year earlier and later kept out with the Court’s permission.
