LCCC levy campaign spends big as 1.6 mill renews
Lorain County Community College levy supporters report spending 545,380 to date with only 193,118 left for the campaign season. Campaign head Tracy Green says final costs may approach prior efforts, noting most funds go to consulting and media buys while radio and cable ads remain unaffordable. The 1.6 mill renewal plus 0.6 mill increase would raise 12 million annually for 10 years.
