Woman Indicted for Murder in Boyfriend's Death
Johnny May Saunders, 23, of 115 Elbe St, was indicted for second degree murder by the Lorain County Grand Jury yesterday in the shooting death of her boyfriend James Wilson, 24, of Benton Harbor, Mich. The shooting occurred about 2 a.m. in front of the Elbe Street residence after an argument. Saunders had lived at the Elbe address about four months. Wilson had visited frequently. Saunders formerly lived in Benton Harbor. The indictment was among 20 returned after a two day session. two indictments were kept secret pending arrest. They are to appear before Common Pleas Judge Paul J. Mikus Nov. 4 to enter pleas. Pre-trial dates will be set then.
