He co owned Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home and supported St Mary Church and local groups. He enjoyed golf bowling and Buckeyes Indians Browns Cavs and left four grandchildren. An IBEW Local 38 electrician for 43 years he joined Vermilion Fire Department in 1957 retiring as Assistant Chief in 2004 and serving as chaplain for nine years. He was a member of St Mary Catholic Church Vermilion Fish and Game Club and the Walleye Central Fishing Club.
