Nineteen Children Hurt In Hartford City Bus Crash
Nineteen school children were injured when a Hartford City school bus veered into a ditch and struck a concrete abutment then splashed into a shallow stream. Three were seriously hurt with shock cuts and burns. Driver Ralph Walke reported the steering gear locked and he could not control the bus.
