Man Kills Accused Betrayer of Child in Ohio
In Youngstown Gust Mohanogs 34 was shot dead by the father of a 14 year old girl who accused him of betraying her. A sister testified the father fired the fatal shot. The father fled and was at large. Mohanogs had just been released on bond after a prior arrest for contributing to a girl's delinquency. The killing occurred while the two men spoke about the matter.

Death of Elyrian John Wesley Bath Prominent Citizen
John Wesley Bath longtime Elyria resident died at his Dennison Avenue home at age 84. Born in Elyria he married Frances Stella Rawson on July 3 1879. they marked a golden wedding anniversary in 1928. He served as state inspector of public buildings and factories and was postmaster under Theodore Roosevelt from 1907 to 1915. Survived by wife two daughters and four grandchildren funeral set for October 21 at 2 00 PM at the Methodist Church with Rev. Piper officiating.
