Farmers Reject Daylight Saving Time Extension

Washington D C U S Rep Don J Pease says Lorain County farmers prompted him to vote against a bill extending daylight saving time by a month The measure passed the House 240 to 157 and moves to the Senate The proposed seven month period would run from the first Sunday in April to the first Sunday in November and change from standard time on the final Sunday in October

DeChant case heads for the Grand Jury

Gregory G. DeChant, 21, charged with double aggravated murder in the stabbing deaths of his parents in Avon Lake, will be presented to a Lorain County grand jury next week.
