Diocese pressured women to dismiss priest abuse charges
Avon Lake Ohio. The Diocese of Cleveland pressured several women to drop lawsuits against former priest Rev Carl Wernet accused of abusing them as children in the 1950s and 60s at St Joseph's Lake Road. Attorney Crosby filed a motion in Cuyahoga County Court arguing cover up and intimidation.
