HUD Awards 1.5 Million Grant for Avon Lake Housing
HUD approves a 1.5 million federal grant to Maximum Independent Living Inc for a 24 unit accessible housing project in Avon Lake near Lear-Nagle and Walker roads behind Learwood shopping center. The plan includes two 12 unit buildings with rental subsidies and caps tenant rent at 30 percent of income, with ground breaking hoped within a year and opening aimed for 1997.
