Elyria chapter handled 1375 home service cases from June 1947 to July 1948 with 61 percent veterans or dependents and 22 percent servicemen. national figures show 65, 28 and 7 percent in those groups. The chapter also assisted 459 other individuals with information and related services. In Septembers report 77 people sought home service. Malden Mass Katherine Richardson and Cecilia Coughlin offered jobs after painting their seven room home.
