Blood Drive Gala Promises Community Support and Prizes
Planned as an annual gala the event occurs the Thursday before or after Thanksgiving and highlights four lives saved per donation. It features hors d OEuvres entertainment gifts and prizes including a Levit Jewelers diamond pendant raffle. Exhibitors include American Sickle Cell Anemia Association Leukemia and Lymphoma Society LifeBanc and the Arthritis Foundation. Demonstrations by a Pilates instructor and a nutritionist emphasize giving blood during the holiday season in Northeast Ohio.
