Truman faces array of lucrative post presidency offers
President Truman has a briefcase full of lucrative job offers after leaving the White House January 20. He has given no indication whether he will accept, and aides say a decision may come only after or well beyond that date. The highest salary offer is about 250000 a year from Resistor Hat Co. for a VP role in road sales. He may return to Independence, Missouri before deciding, with world trip and lectures talked about but not confirmed.
