In Westport Massachusetts a 44 year old mother Mrs Mary Audet and eight of her ten children were found suffocated after dense smoke filled their two story home. Head-On Collision On Route 57 Injures Three
At 6 45 am today a head-on crash on Route 57 a half mile north of Route 254 injured three people. Markus Keathley 19 of Lorain drove north into a southbound car driven by Peter Pavlich 45 of Elyria. Both cars were demolished. Keathley received facial lacerations at St Josephs Hospital Lorain. Leonard Giles 27 a passenger suffered a possible broken neck and facial and knee injuries. Pavlich was admitted for possible rib fractures and injuries to his hand and leg.
