Avon Eagles face tougher tests after string of strong showings
Avon’s 6-1, 220-pound Harrison anchors a veteran defense as a three-year starter and three-time All-West Shore pick. Senior linebackers Lance and Burriss provide size and versatility, with Lance moving from quarterback to end and Burriss drawing Division I interest. The unit held Midview to 10 in Week 9, then lost 25-21 at Lake Catholic, and surged in a 45-24 win over Medina Highland last week, as Lance made a key stop on Kent Masters.
