Alaska weather crisis eases after epic Bering Sea storm
An historic Bering Sea storm battered Alaska western coast with winds near 90 mph and 10 foot seas, now weakening but leaving widespread damage and a missing 26 year old man from Teller. State officials say 37 communities reported damage as crews assess the toll and restore power in hard hit villages like Point Hope and Kivalina. A new weaker storm approaches, bringing 20 to 40 mph winds and preventing quick water level recedes.
