District seeks dismissal in bullying death lawsuit
Mentor Public School District asks a federal court to dismiss one of two cases over bullying that allegedly caused Sladjana Vidovic to kill herself in 2008. Lead drug runner pleads guilty in marijuana scheme
David Garrett of Culver City California pleaded guilty in U S District Court to distributing more than 2000 pounds of marijuana. He helped oversee a multi city Columbus Ohio operation and faces at least 10 years in prison. Lisette Lee another alleged leader has pleaded not guilty after arrival with 500 pounds in 13 suitcases.

Creditors seize Ridgeville complex in sheriff sale
Creditors owed more than 1 million for equipment and work won the 25 year lease of the Ohio Sports Park in North Ridgeville. The lone bid of 866667 was the minimum and the 67 acre site with eight baseball fields and two soccer fields remains under public ownership.

Oberlin College workers approve three year contract
After more than four months without a contract, 189 Oberlin College non teaching staff including administrative assistants and lab technicians approved a new pact. It provides 3.5 percent raises over three years with the first two years delayed and higher health care contributions. The agreement runs through June 30, 2013 and follows demonstrations during negotiations.
