Judge Denies Plea Withdrawal in Zhao Case
A Lorain County Common Pleas Court judge denied Hong Zhao of Strongsville's August motion to withdraw his guilty plea from June 1997. Zhao faced deportation after pleading guilty to vandalism tampering with records and denying access to a computer at Industrial Video. The judge ruled no manifest injustice occurred and cited Zhao's prior convictions and ongoing deportation concerns.
