Mother Cleared In Killing Of Her Husband

CLEVELAND Nov. 8 Al Wakefield commodore of the Vermilion O Boat Club is to be elected commodore of the Inter Lake Yachting Association at tonight’s annual meeting at Hotel Statler. Wakefield, now vice commodore, will succeed Ed Noble who is commodore of the Cleveland Yacht Club. The Inter Lake Yachting Association represents thirty yacht clubs along the Great Lakes region. Lorain County officials must seek aid from other agencies for the rest of the year after County Prosecutor Don W. Myers ruled the board lacks authority to borrow for the Widows Pension and Soldiers Relief funds until January 1. Francis Seiberling Republican for the 14th district defeats Don Harter Democrat by 103 votes in Lorain County official returns. Early counts showed Seiberling ahead by 2,718 in the county and 461 overall. the latest tally gives a Lorain lead of 2,615, keeping him the probable winner by about 4,300 votes in the district.
