Miss Wilma A Bonar resigns as Lorain County extension agent and Miss Alice Bird of Fayette Ohio is named her successor arriving today to take over work. Bonar will stay until mid December then leave to marry Lyman F Baker of Steubenville. Bird, a June 1929 Ohio State University graduate, has taught home economics and led school music programs. Do-X Giant German flying boat lands at Calshot on U S flight
The Do-X flying boat landed at Calshot after laps from Amsterdam, completing a stage of its voyage to the United States. It touched down smoothly three quarters of a mile off Calshot Point at 3 33 p m after a sighting at 3 25 p m. A Dutch patrol rammed the craft yesterday, holeing a pontoon. Twenty one passengers were aboard for the journey to New York, most of them Continentals.

Burglars broke into H. J. Krueck’s shop at 206 Clark Street Saturday night and took $2.50 in pennies after removing a screen and breaking a window. Police report notes the window was unlocked from inside after entry.

Funeral Will Be Held Wednesday For Gen Bliss
Washington reports General Tasker H Bliss will be buried at Arlington Cemetery on Wednesday, the day after the 12th anniversary of the war ceasefire. The 76 year old died at Walter Reed Hospital after six months with an acute intestinal disorder. Funeral honors include a service at Washington Cathedral, escorted by soldiers from his ranks, with a salute as his body is interred on a grassy slope near Taft’s grave.

North Ridgeville Man Dies In 91st Year
Dominick Gibbons 91 of North Ridgeville died at home at 7 30 P M after an eight month illness. Born in Ireland September 4 1839 he came to the United States at 22 and settled in North Ridgeville where he spent most of his life. He worked for the Newark Central Railroad and retired on pension 18 years ago as an early parishioner of St Peter's Church Ridgeville.

Penfield farmers plan vigilance group over city trespassers
