Man charged in shooting death in Eaton Township
Lorain County deputies found a 29 year old woman dead at 12583 Melody Lane after a Sunday night shooting. Clifford Serafine Jr., 34, owner of the home, was arrested and charged with murder felonious assault tampering with evidence and related counts. He faces a 9 a.m. court date in Elyria Municipal Court.

North Ridgeville dedicates veterans memorial after four years
The North Ridgeville Veterans Memorial was unveiled after a four year effort, with a fountain bearing names of locals who died in wars, flag poles for the nation and state, and brick pavers honoring veterans. The project began in 2020 led by committee president Mark Steinbrunner. The memorial awaits completion of several conflict stones detailing U.S. wars.
