American Paratroopers Leave Hamburger Hill Genral Search Shifts

American paratroopers after seizing Hamburger Hill or Dong Ap Bia move off the crest and push reconnaissance in the A Shau Valley. Conflict of interest charges against Kokinda dismissed

Lorain County Probate Court Judge Harold Ewing dismissed conflict of interest charges seeking Kokinda’s removal as Sixth Ward councilman after complainants failed to post a $150 deposit of costs. Five signers alleged a $350 hardware sale to the city electrical department caused a conflict. Kokinda said the sale aimed to save money and was rescinded.

Tragic garage accident claims South Amherst boy 11

Robert Holtz Jr. died in his family garage in South Amherst after a chain and a two ton hydraulic car jack caused strangulation. Lorain County Coroner ruled the death accidental at 2 pm. Deputies say he used the jack as a platform to reach a rafter and his neck became caught by the chain.
