Fashion Fiasco of Ed Wynn Wears Humble Style Woes
In a humorous self parody, Ed Wynn laments being mismatched to ready made clothes and hats, describing pear shaped head, long waist, and the struggle to find fitting attire. He recalls fashion misadventures from bow ties to opera hats, dress chains, and failed attempts at stylish affectations while joking about stage stardom and public perception. The piece closes noting copyright with McNaught Syndicate, 1932.
